Who Gets The Most National Public Holidays?

At least for France vs. the UK, this table is misleading. All of the UK holidays are either on a Monday or if they fall on the weekend and extra day is given in compensation. This means that the Brits always get exactly 8 holidays. In France, most of the holidays are not on specific days of the week and if the holiday falls on the weekend the holiday is "lost". Off the top of my head, I think there are three French holidays that fall on specific days (Easter Friday and a couple of religious holidays that fall on Thursday) so an average French year has 3 + 9 * 5/7 holidays which comes out at about 9.5.
I wonder how many of the other entries have similar problems.

India has 10 public holidays too. I don't know why it is not listed here...

Yes, I agree India should take the cake in this. Although most interesting and hilarious public holidays are of Uzbekistan.
